Pharmacy Technician Infusion

Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

Full Time Benefits

Assist the pharmacist in providing safe and quality infusion services to the patient.

This may include receiving, entering, processing, preparing, packaging, and delivery of medication, supplies, and equipment.

Responsible for procurement, inventory, and restocking of supplies and medications.

ResponsibilitiesThis position will be an “office” technician versus our technicians who perform sterile compounding. They will answer phones, manage faxes, contact patients via telephone, assist pharmacists.

QualificationsEducation

:

High School or Vocational School graduate or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

Experience in retail or clinical pharmacy setting.

Read, speak and write fluent English and perform simple arithmetic computations.

Ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies and procedures.

License(s)/Certification(s):

Registered as a pharmacy technician with Board of Pharmacy prior to commencement of work if already nationally certified (or registered as technician trainee if not yet certified)

Valid licensed driver with automobile insurance in accordance with state and/or organizational requirements.

Mandatory Reporter: Child & Dependent Adult Abuse.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Strong interpersonal skills.

Ability to take initiative and exercise nonclinical judgment, decision making and problem solving expertise.

Ability to work as a collaborative team member.

Basic knowledge of computer applications (i.e. Word, Excel) and operations.

Ability to maintain confidential information
