This role is ideal for individuals passionate about creating impactful tools that empower users to achieve their best work.**You will play a critical role in driving projects forward with precision, taking end-to-end ownership of designs, deployments, and optimizations. This is a pivotal time to join, with a dynamic roadmap filled with exciting opportunities.**Roles and Responsibilities:***

Design and optimize database schemas using PostgreSQL and Redis.*

Write high-quality code in TypeScript and Node.js.*

Work with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Google Cloud Run or Kubernetes.*

Build, review, and deploy cloud-native applications on platforms like GCP.*

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.*

Drive projects from conception to deployment, solving real customer problems.*

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align development with business goals.*

Contribute to single-page web app frameworks like React.*

Document decisions and context to ensure shared understanding and continuity.**Job Requirements:***

8+ years of experience as an engineer on a high-performing team, preferably in a B2B SaaS company.*

Deep expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Redis.*

Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; startup experience is highly preferred.*

Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration (e.g., Google Cloud Run, Kubernetes).*

Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and services with at least one cloud provider (e.g., GCP).*

Commitment to shipping code and delivering practical solutions over theoretical ones.*

Operationally minded with forward-thinking documentation skills.*

In-office presence required, 5 days per week in San Francisco.**Nice to Have:***

Prior experience as a founder, founding engineer, or being part of the first 15 employees at a reputable startup.Senior Software Engineer
