Jewish non profit seeks a director of marketing.

Position Summary:We are seeking a Director of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts and oversee a small team. The ideal candidate will be a multi-tasker with excellent organizational, writing, and editing skills who thrives under tight deadlines and manages well under pressure. This role is pivotal in ensuring that marketing strategies align with organizational goals and that all materials meet high-quality standards.Duties and Responsibilities:·

General Organization messaging and brand awareness:

ensure all messaging created follows brand guidelines·

Marketing Request Intake:

Manage and execute or delegate marketing requests across 14 divisions and the development team, including creating flyers, event signage, collateral materials, and fundraising assets.·

Content Creation:

Assist the Development team with ideation and creation of assets for fundraising efforts, such as drive cards, capital campaign brochures, and donor journals.·

Videos:

Perform minor video editing tasks using Canva or similar tools, and overseeing video projects with outside vendors.·

Email Campaigns:

Use Mailchimp or other tools to deploy weekly SBH email blasts and manage email campaigns for various divisions.·

Publications:

Oversee the production, editing and printing of 2–3 SBH Source Magazines and one comprehensive Annual Report per year·

Budget Management:

Track and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with financial goals.·

Writing and Editing:

Develop, edit, and refine copy for various marketing materials, ensuring a consistent and professional voice across all platforms·

Team Leadership:

Oversee the marketing team, including a full-time Graphic Designer and Marketing Manager. Delegate daily tasks and requests to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.·

Advertising:

create and place magazine ads in community publications specific to organization’s goals·

Social Media:

manage main social media accounts as well as oversee division accounts. This may include content ideation, creation or sharingLarger Marketing Projects:

this may include rebranding, specific awareness campaignsSkill and Education Required:· Proven experience in a marketing role.· Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.· Proficiency in Canva or similar design and video editing tools.· Proficiency in Mailchimp or similar email campaign software.· Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.· A collaborative and creative mindset with attention to detail.· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
