Job Description
The Crunch Manager will ensure the members receive the highest quality of service and facilities. He or she will exhibit an ability to achieve the financial targets for the club as outlined in the annual budget by motivating, leading, supervising and coordinating the activities of employees engaged in servicing our member needs. He/She will demonstrate an aptitude and command of all company-wide policies and initiatives to ensure the integrity of the Crunch brand.Reports to:OwnerRequirements:4 year college degree preferred4 years management experience requiredFitness management experience preferredCurrent Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) requiredSpecial Skills:Strong organizational skillsStrong leadership skillsResponsibilities:Administration/OrganizationDemonstrate a working knowledge of all standard operating procedures and policies that pertain to the club.Communicate and implement club policies and procedures to employees.Encourage staff to work as a team and be productive.Illustrate an ability to make decisions.Recruit and hire the highest possible caliber of staff.Demonstrate the ability to lead, motivate, and manage the team.Achieve desired revenue goals through the leadership and motivation of employees.Implement and support company programs and promotions to help generate new sales leads for optimum new membership growth.Ensure that the team maintains proper tracking forms and daily leads.Ensure that all promotions are effectively communicated to the team and all other appropriate staff.Ensure ongoing prospecting and generation of new prospective members.Review sales-related written communication such as proposals, letters, and promotional pieces for effectiveness, spelling, accuracy, and distribution.Ensure that the staff has a high level of knowledge about the club's programs, facilities, and equipment.Emphasize the importance of staff involvement in the community and neighborhood businesses.Personal Training/Revenue ManagementDemonstrate ability to lead, motivate and manage the personal training department.Achieve desired personal training revenue and session production goals.Achieve desired revenue and production results through the leadership and motivation of employees.Implement and support company programs and promotions to help generate new personal training client acquisition for optimum member base penetration.Facilitate integration of Personal Training products into point of sale presentations to maximize the number of orientation sessions scheduled and packages sold.Ensure the Personal Training team follows proper procedures in session redemption.Oversee the Personal Training manager in ensuring all components of departmental objectives are satisfied.OperationsCoordinate and work within club support functions of Fitness, Sales and Marketing, Accounting, Information Technology.
