Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate

Occupational Therapist (OT)

to join our pediatric therapy team in

Forest, VA . This role offers the opportunity to work in a

supportive and collaborative environment

while making a meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families. The ideal candidate will be passionate about pediatric therapy, skilled in evaluating and treating developmental and sensory-motor challenges, and committed to delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and assess

children's functional abilities, sensory processing, and motor skills to develop individualized treatment plans.Provide direct therapy services

to pediatric patients in a clinic setting, using evidence-based practices to improve fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care, and overall independence.Collaborate

with a multidisciplinary team, including speech therapists, physical therapists, educators, and families, to ensure a comprehensive approach to therapy.Educate and train

parents and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercises to support continued progress outside of therapy sessions.Document and maintain accurate records , progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.Stay up-to-date

with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in pediatric occupational therapy through professional development opportunities.Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and community outreach

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.Current

OT licensure in the state of Virginia

(or eligibility to obtain licensure).Pediatric experience preferred, but new graduates with a passion for working with children are encouraged to apply.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to develop and implement creative and engaging therapy sessions.
