Responsibilities:

1. Create, send, and follow up on invoices collected from various departments within the consulting firm.2. Review and verify billing data for accuracy, checking for any discrepancies and rectifying them promptly.3. Maintain and update client records, ensuring all billing information is accurate and up to date.4. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure that all invoices align with the financial policies and procedures of the company.5. Prepare and present reports detailing billing activity, payment status, and any outstanding invoices.6. Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies arising from billing or payment processes.7. Coordinate with the consulting team to ensure all services are correctly billed.8. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, contributing to the overall financial health of the company.9. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies regarding billing and financial transactions.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.2. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a billing clerk or similar role, preferably within a consulting environment.3. Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.4. Strong understanding of billing and financial concepts.5. Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to spot numerical errors.6. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.8. Problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve billing discrepancies and issues efficiently.9. Ability to work effectively in a team, contributing positively to team operations and working relationships.10. High level of integrity and reliability, with the ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially.
