Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required

License: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania

Certifications: Meets the American Heart Association's standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years

Must-Have: Ability to function as a team member and effectively communicate in a professional manner at all times

Job Description:- Responsible for the overall nursing practice of the unit during assigned shifts- In the absence of the Unit Director/Manager, responsible to the Clinical Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Clinical Coordinator of the shift- Provides professional nursing care based on current knowledge using the nursing process- Responsible for assessing patient needs and developing plans of care- Implements nursing measures and evaluates the effectiveness of care and other treatment measures- Supports and encourages effective communication skills in the workplace- Demonstrates high levels of mental and emotional tolerance and maintains a professional attitude when interacting with patients, families, and co-workers
