Job Details

We are seeking a full-time Associate Attorney for our Austin, TX office. Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of litigation experience. While experience in construction, insurance defense, and/or real estate law is preferred, a strong litigation background may suffice. A Texas license to practice law is required.

As an Associate Attorney, you will collaborate closely with senior attorneys on various aspects of litigation management, including but not limited to:

Legal researchDrafting pleadings, discovery, dispositive motions, and responsesTaking depositionsAttending mediationsPreparing for and attending trials and arbitrationsQualifications

Strong knowledge and experience in law, with an emphasis on labor and employment lawAbility to provide sound legal advice and conduct thorough legal researchExcellent negotiation skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneouslyStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlinesGood organizational and time management skillsExperience in construction liability, real estate transactions, and insurance defense is a plusJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree and an active license to practice law in Texas
