Flex; As scheduled for 8 hours every Thursday, with the potential for additional hours as needed.Compensation:

$25.80 - $38.70 / hour, based on relevant experience.Key Responsibilities:Prepare the surgical operating suite with essential drapes, instruments, solutions, and equipment.Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are in good working condition.Assist with patient preparation, transportation, positioning, and draping.Pass instruments to the physician during surgical procedures while maintaining accurate counts of instruments and supplies.Process and send specimens to the laboratory as needed.Utilize critical thinking and decisive judgment while working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.Requirements:High School diploma or GED, or Military training.Current registration as a Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist in the state.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, valid for at least sixty days from the start date.Preferred: Minimum of 6 months of surgical tech experience or graduation from an accredited Surgical Tech program, with orthopedic experience being a plus.At UCHealth, we are committed to improving lives through learning, healing, and discovery.
