Job Details

What You Will Be Doing

Providing competent clinical nursing care to oncology patients
Participating in patient education and assessing readiness to learn
Evaluating patient care and communicating relevant information
Implementing care plans and performing bedside point of care testing
Developing goals for professional growth and participating in unit goals
Assessing and anticipating discharge needs of patients and families
Collaborating with patients and families to prepare or update care plans

Skills You Need

Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina
Oncology experience is highly preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
Graduation from a school of professional nursing
One year of nursing experience
