About the Role
The Company is in search of a Director of Solutions/Sales Engineering to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for interfacing with customers to determine technical requirements, strategizing to develop solutions, and partnering with the sales team to qualify and close deals. This role involves designing and communicating compelling solutions, serving as a technology advisor, and creating powerful proposals. The Director will also be tasked with growing and building a team of pre-sales engineers, currently consisting of two members.Applicants must have a proven track record in a customer-facing sales engineering role, with prior experience in a similar position with a top-tier Microsoft partner firm. The role requires a self-starter with excellent technical presentation skills, the ability to conceptualize and present technology solutions, and a strong background in application and system architecture design. Experience in large-scale application development, microservices, Kubernetes, and data platform architecture is essential. The ideal candidate will be a technology expert with a focus on business problems and will possess excellent communication skills.
