About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Manufacturing to lead the strategic and operational aspects of its APAC manufacturing locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the movement and consolidation of the operational footprint, streamlining equipment, and adopting process designs and technologies to enhance operational efficiency. This role involves planning and forecasting resources to ensure sufficient manufacturing capacity and supporting the business's goals. The VP of Manufacturing will also be tasked with implementing and executing policies and programs to maximize capacity, quality, and cost-effectiveness, as well as leading a team to foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.Applicants for the VP of Manufacturing position at the company should have a strong background in the electronics industry, with a significant portion of their experience at a leadership level in a mid- to large-size multinational company. The role requires the ability to work independently on strategic realignment, possess a strong executive presence, and have direct international experience in leading cross-national teams. Proficiency in English is essential, with a second language such as Vietnamese or Mandarin being preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in enhancing operational processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a large regional team effectively. Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly MRP, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are also necessary qualifications.
