About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be responsible for the financial management of the organization, including overseeing all aspects of finance and accounting functions, budgeting, and maintaining internal controls. This role requires a strategic leader who can manage the organization's financial operations, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and provide financial data for decision-making. The CFO will also be involved in human resources, operations management, and administrative leadership, and must be committed to the core values of the organization, including equity, diversity, and inclusion.Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business, management, or finance, with a CPA certification and a preference for a Master's degree. A minimum of 10 years' experience in financial leadership, particularly in nonprofit management and fund accounting, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of resourcefulness, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. Experience in special events accounting and knowledge of software such as Raiser's Edge is a plus. The CFO must be detail-oriented, results-driven, and able to multitask while maintaining a focus on the organization's mission.
