About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, Credit Bureau Reporting Governance Lead to play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of credit bureau reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust controls to mitigate risks across business processes, as well as co-managing large project initiatives. This role demands a strong focus on enhancing and managing governance structures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Credit Billing Act, and Equal Credit Opportunity Act. The VP will also be tasked with driving closed-loop reporting on data inaccuracies and developing job aids to align with remediation processes.Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business discipline, or in lieu of a degree, 10 years' experience in the financial industry. A minimum of 5 years' experience in data analytics, project management, and credit bureau reporting is required, along with a strong understanding of the relevant regulatory acts. Desired characteristics include working knowledge of specific data management platforms and strong communication skills. The role is ideal for a candidate with a proven ability to prioritize, work independently, and demonstrate strong follow-up and follow-through skills.
