We are seeking a creative, kind, experienced, and ambitious sous chef to join a restaurant in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn serving American cuisine with global influences. Your exceptional organizational skills, creativity, and passion for delivering outstanding hospitality will be instrumental in driving our success. This position will report to our Executive Chef.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our executive chef on menu growth and service operation
- Manage food preparation, cooking, and plate presentation in absence of executive chef
- Uphold the highest standards of food safety, food handling, and sanitation requirements to ensure the health and safety of staff and guests
- Communicate with Executive Chef on kitchen inventory and ordering
- Ensure consistent execution of company policies
