Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect mechanical components and assemblies using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM).
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to verify compliance.
• Identify defects, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and monitor quality control systems and procedures.
• Perform audits to ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and other industry standards.
• Support calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.

Qualifications:

• Degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in quality control within a mechanical or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in precision measuring instruments and interpreting mechanical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of SPC, Lean manufacturing, and quality management software is a plus.
• Preferred: ASQ Certified Quality Technician or Certified Mechanical Inspector.
