Job Details:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Structural Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. This exciting opportunity is perfect for an individual who is passionate about the engineering industry and is ready to take their career to the next level. As a Structural Design Engineer, you will be working on a variety of projects, ranging from small scale to complex, multi-million dollar buildings. You will be responsible for the design, analysis, and inspection of steel and concrete structures, ensuring they are safe, reliable, and efficient.

Responsibilities:
1. Prepare, review, and approve detailed structural designs for steel and concrete structures, ensuring they meet industry standards and project specifications.
2. Perform complex structural analysis using both hand calculations and computer-aided design software.
3. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure the structural integrity of projects.
4. Conduct site inspections to verify the implementation of designs and provide technical advice as needed.
5. Review and approve contractor submissions, including shop drawings, product data, samples, and design calculations.
6. Identify and resolve design and construction challenges, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
7. Keep up-to-date with the latest industry advancements and apply this knowledge to structural design work.
8. Work in compliance with all safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. A Master’s degree will be considered an asset.
2. Preferred to have a Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design engineering, with a focus on steel and concrete structures.
4. Proficient in using engineering software for structural analysis and design.
5. Excellent knowledge of building and construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
9. Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
