Job Details

1. Designing and developing complex mechanical systems, components, and equipment for food manufacturing, ensuring that they meet customer and industry specifications.
2. Utilizing CAD software to create detailed 2D or 3D designs.
3. Conducting in-depth analyses of mechanical systems, including FEA and DFMEA.
4. Applying knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics to the design and development process.
5. Interpreting and creating detailed drawings and technical specifications.
6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of design concepts.
7. Implementing PLC in the design and development of industrial equipment.
8. Ensuring all designs adhere to safety engineering principles and standards.
9. Troubleshooting and repairing equipment, including performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of issues.
10. Continuously updating knowledge and staying abreast of the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and related fields.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Senior Mechanical Design Engineer position should possess the following:

1. A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
3. Proficient in CAD drafting and machine design.
4. Extensive knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
5. Familiarity with safety engineering principles and practices.
6. Experience with PLC, equipment troubleshooting and repair.
7. Proficiency in FEA, DFMEA, GD&T.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
9. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
11. A passion for innovation and continuous learning.
