Job Details

Responsibilities:

Implement cost accounting systems and strategies to support the financial infrastructure of the company.Prepare and analyze cost reports, including raw material costs, manufacturing costs, labor costs, and overhead costs.Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile with the general ledger.Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.Coordinate with the production team to ensure accurate product costing.Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.Analyze production variances and their impact on production costs.Review and analyze margin reports for product lines.Conduct audits regularly to ensure the accuracy of financial and non-financial data.Collaborate with the management team to streamline cost accounting processes and improve operational efficiency.Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.Maintain cost accounting system and work on ledger and cost audits.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is highly desirable.Proficient in Variance Analysis and General Ledger.Strong analytical skills with a thorough understanding of financial reporting and cost accounting principles.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize to meet deadlines.A proactive problem solver who can make sound decisions based on data analysis.Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and cost accounting principles.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
