The right candidate for this role will be/haveHighly motivated, entrepreneurial, ethical self-starterExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenWell -polished in appearance and professional in demeanorGood, solid business networkAttention to detail with good judgmentTeam player with ability to make informed business decisions

Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Recommend tax strategies and solutions to clients supporting business goals and objectivesMeet with clients and prepare complex tax returnsManage a staff of tax accountants and bookkeepers, review tax returns and work outputWork with business owners and other clients to advise on tax planning and business issuesManage, direct, oversee and challenge client engagement teamsProvide tax technical training to staffResearch and answer tax questions from clientsPerform retirement planning analysis

Qualifications:BS/BA degree in Accounting;1+ years of tax experience, preferably in external tax accountingProficiency in technical writing and researchAbility to work quickly and independently in a busy and demanding environmentExperience preparing/reviewing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporationsStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Quick books, and tax software programsClient service orientated
