Responsibilities:

Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.Plan and implement research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.Supervise and train project team members as necessary.Investigate and test vendors' and competitors' products.Oversee project production efforts to assure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget.Use AutoCAD and MATLAB to design and troubleshoot electrical systems.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Demonstrated proficiency in electrical equipment maintenance and electrical code.Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, MATLAB, and other relevant software.Proven experience in project management, with the ability to lead a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Familiarity with the latest developments in electrical engineering and the ability to apply new technologies to improve existing processes.Strong understanding of electrical machines, control systems, and power systems.Professional Engineering (PE) certification is a plus.
