Responsibilities:Manage the entire payroll process, ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficientlyManage multi-state payroll and related taxesCollect, calculate, and enter data in order to maintain and update payroll informationCompile summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages and report on thisDetermine payroll liabilities by calculating employee federal and state income, social security taxes, employer's social security, unemployment, and workers compensation paymentsResolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing informationProvide payroll information by answering questions and requestsHandle the administration of the electronic timekeeping systemSetup new employees, temporary workers, and contractors in the payroll systemManage the monthly payroll tax and garnishmentsHandle the administration of the 401K planEnsure compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelinesLiaise with auditors as required
