Position Summary:

The Financial Controller serves as the financial leader for the company, working closely with the CEO and COO on key financial decisions. We're a fixture manufacturer with great service, quality products, and beautiful design.

Reporting to the COO, the Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing the monthly close, financial planning and reporting, cash flow management, inventory reporting, profit analysis, risk management, leases and contracts, banking relationships, audits, and government reporting as required.

Essential Functions:

Lead and manage the Accounting teamPrepare monthly financial statements and conduct cost analysisDevelop the Annual Budget and Quarterly ForecastsOversee cash flow management and forecastingPerform pricing and profit analysisManage banking relationships and line of credit (LOC)Oversee inventory managementImplement and monitor risk management strategiesManage legal matters and contractsSupervise the annual audit/review processOversee tax return preparationEnsure accurate sales tax reportingSupervise Human Resources functions related to payroll and benefitsPerform other duties and projects as assigned

Experience working in small business environments.Experience with Quickbooks DesktopStrong leadership capabilitiesPricing experience a huge plusMust have inventory experienceExceptional time management and organizational abilitiesIn-depth knowledge and experience with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
