Our prestigious law firm is seeking a seasoned Labor and Employment Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling a variety of labor and employment law matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and counsel on a wide range of labor and employment matters, representing our firm in litigation and administrative proceedings, and assisting in the development and implementation of employment policies and procedures. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex and challenging cases, with the potential for personal and professional growth.Responsibilities

Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on a wide range of labor and employment issues, including wage and hour laws, the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA), the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), discrimination, wrongful termination, and class actions.Represent clients in litigation and administrative proceedings involving labor and employment matters.Negotiate and draft settlement agreements and other legal documents.Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on their legal rights and obligations.Assist in the development and implementation of employment policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.A minimum of 5 years of experience in labor and employment law.Admission to the state bar.In-depth knowledge of labor and employment laws, including wage and hour laws, PAGA, FEHA, discrimination, wrongful termination, and class actions.Proven experience in mediation and settlement negotiations.Excellent legal research and writing skills.Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
