Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Progressive Care Unit, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and manage patient conditions as required.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices, technologies, and evidence-based guidelines.

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure in Illinois.
• 1-3 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with frequent walking and standing.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
