Senior Lab Technician, Coffee Research & Development

Your Opportunity as the Senior Lab Technician Product Development Team-Coffee Research & DevelopmentLocation:

Orrville OH Corporate OfficesIn this role you will:Brewing coffee samples and submitting for product analysis and cuppingPerforming general lab maintenance utilizing brewing appliances recording data labeling and tracking samplesOrder and maintain inventory of all ingredients (green coffee flavors etc) for the team manage POs as necessarySupport Product Development Team in all product development initiatives by preparing experimental formulations at direction of project technical leadsFollow proper procedures for good laboratory practices (ensuring security safety GMP and quality)Lead Benchtop lab runs and ensure proper testing methods are taking place in the lab and/or Pilot Research Lab (PRL)Perform standard operating procedures and test methods relevant to the jobDocument summarize and report data from all product cuppings and studies make special note of unexpected results or observationsIdentify ways to improve methods and new ways to accomplish tasksAssist with customer visit/event logistics as neededBe an area owner HSE Key Element or Quality representativeRepresent Product Development on the Coffee PRL calls and coordinate Product Development needs with the PRL team submit test requests coordinate pre-test reviews monitor progress of test and lead inventory management of materials from testThe Right Place for YouWe are bold kind strive to do the right thing we play to win and we believe in a strong community that thrives together.
