Winston Resources is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Cardiology for a per diem / prn job in Sacramento, California.

Specialty: Pre and Post Cardiac Electrophysiology patients
Setting: Telemetry and Pre/Post Cardiac Unit
FTE: 0.9 (full time)
Duties: Individual functions independently, in collaboration with Cardiologist/Hospitalist to manage the care of pre and post procedure electrophysiology patients. Facilitates the progression of the patient from admission to discharge post procedure.
EMR: Cerner
Support Staff: Works in collaboration with nursing, care coordination, physicians.
Shift times: 12 hours 0900-2130 (somewhat flexible start)
We are looking for someone to work 3-12 hours per week (Thurs-Saturday). The shift includes Saturdays but no holidays. There is 1 other Full time NP currently and the locums would collaborate on the shared schedule.
Schedule: varied working with 1 other NP to cover 6 days a week (includes Saturdays).
Dates of coverage: ASAP start once credentialed for 3-6 months.
No Call
Admissions per day: patient load can range from 10-20 patients daily with length of stay 1-2 days
Types of cases: pre and post electrophysiology (device implants and ablations).
Requirements
AANP Certified
Active CA license
Active ACLS, BLS, DEA, PECOS
Clean Malpractice/Background
COVID VACCINATION
