28-bed, acute care, inpatient unit. Our interdisciplinary team provides care primarily to adult post-surgical patients with weight loss issues, gastrointestinal (GI) cancers, and complex non-cancer GI-related illnesses. Extensive complex wound management is given throughout the course of hospitalization. PICC line care, administration of TPN, anticoagulation. Ratio is 1 to 5.
