Position Summary: The Registered Nurse as a Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse performs the functions of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for patients. Ensures that Cardiac Rehab is safe, comprehensive, cost-effective and medically appropriate for individual patients. Contribute to the development of Cardiac Rehabilitation Service by acting as a credible role model, educator, and an expert clinician, using current research and evidence-based practice.
Experience
Required: Minimum 3-5 years Cardiac Rehab nursing preferred.

Education
Required: Minimum of 1 year RN experience in a Cardiology ICU/Critical Care setting with a total of 3 years of prior RN experience
Preferred: 3 years of Cardiac Rehab RN experience

License and Credentials
Required: Current New Jersey License as a Registered Nurse. Approval of credentials and clinical privileges per Center procedure.

Skills
Required: Maintain required continuing education credits, maintain current CPR and ACLS certification. Computer proficiency. Proficient in using Electrocardiograph (ECG) machine, sphygmomanometer, stethoscope, scales, Height stick, Body Mass Index (BMI) calculation, Resuscitation equipment including a defibrillator.
HOURS: Full-time , 80 hours per pay period
