Piper Health & Sciences is seeking a skilled and dedicated Facilities Associate (Laboratory Operations) to join a dynamic and innovative biotechnology organization in the Manchester, NH area. The Facilities Associate (Laboratory Operations) will be responsible for maintaining the infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of our biotechnology facility.

Responsibilities of the Facilities Associate:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems to ensure optimal functioning and climate control.
• Maintain and repair heating systems, including boilers and radiators, to ensure efficient operation.
• Handle electrical maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting, repairs, and installations.
• Address plumbing issues, perform installations and repairs, and ensure proper functioning of plumbing systems.
• Conduct painting and patching tasks to maintain the appearance and integrity of the facility.
• Install and maintain shelves and other storage solutions as needed.
• Safely connect and maintain gas lines for laboratory and facility equipment.
• Complete regular safety checklists to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Work with vendors and service providers to coordinate maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring timely and efficient service.

Qualifications of the Facilities Associate:

• 2+ years of experience working in facilities maintenance/management
• HVAC, electrical, heating & plumbing experience required
• Experience completing safety checklists
• Excellent communication skills (experience working with vendors is a plus)
• High School diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in facilities management, HVAC, electrical, or plumbing is preferred.

Compensation for the Facilities Associate:

Salary: Between $25.00 $32.00/ hourly based on years of experience
