Position Overview:
The Premier Physician Network (PPN) Clinical Neuroscience Institute, in collaboration with Wright State University's Boonshoft School of Medicine, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible physician with fellowship training in Headache Medicine and a UCNS certification in Headache Medicine. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic interest and a commitment to teaching and training fellows in our Headache Medicine Fellowship program. This full-time position offers the opportunity to engage in clinical practice, education, and research within a supportive and dynamic academic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Practice: Provide comprehensive care for patients with headache and facial pain disorders in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Utilize procedural skills, including OnabotulinumtoxinA injections, peripheral nerve blocks, and trigger point injections.
- Education: Actively participate in the teaching and mentorship of fellows, residents, and medical students. Deliver lectures and contribute to the academic development of the Headache Medicine Fellowship program.
- Research: Engage in clinical research initiatives aimed at advancing the understanding and treatment of headache disorders. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement research projects, with opportunities to present and publish findings.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified or board-eligible in primary specialty.
- Fellowship trained in Headache Medicine.
- UCNS certification in Headache Medicine.
- Demonstrated interest and experience in academic medicine, including teaching and research.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
