Cardiology Associates of Schenectady an established Cardiology is seeking to recruit a motivated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team in Amsterdam, NY. Our practice is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, and we offer access to sub-specialty services to ensure our patients receive the best possible care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient cardiology care to adults of all ages (425 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY office)
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, assessments, and diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with our team of cardiologists
- Perform hospital rounding at St. Marys Hospital in Amsterdam
- Educate patients and their families about cardiac conditions, treatment options, and preventative measures
Requirements:
- NYS licensure
- DEA certification
- Board Certification
- ACLS/BLS certification
- 1-2 years of experience working in a Cardiology or Acute Care setting preferred, however new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Job Type: Full-time
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday - Weekends as needed
Compensation:
- Salary range: $130,891- 150,933 per year

The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer.
