Job Description
Brooklyn Center is hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in Brooklyn, NY.

Responsibilities include:
  • Collaborating with the Director of Nursing (DON) to manage and maintain high standards of care
  • Leading staff education and acting as the Infection Control Officer
  • Ensuring compliance and fostering clear communication with nursing teams
  • Meeting the medical and nursing needs of all residents
  • Planning and coordinating nursing services across the facility
  • Staying current with nursing practices and theory
  • Risk Management
  • Ensuring timely and accurate completion of medical documentation
  • Assisting in the hiring, interviewing, and orientation of new nursing staff
  • Being adaptable to changing demands and maintaining a flexible schedule as needed
Qualifications:
  • Active RN license in New York
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in long-term care
  • 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience in staff education is a plus
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
  • Willingness to work flexible hours
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Current State RN license required
  • Min. 3 yrs. exp. in Long-Term Care settings
  • 2 years of management experience preferred
  • 1-year staff education experience preferred
  • Excellent Communication Skills required
  • Evidence of basic leadership skills and supervision
  • Flexible hours required
