  • Medical Solutions is looking for an ICU RN in GA.
  • The hospital is looking for the traveler to work 12 hour shifts to start ASAP on a 13 week contract.
    Job Requirements

  • Must have min of 2 years in an ICU setting and be VERY comfortable with critical pts.
    Schedule Information
  • 12 hour shifts
  • Shifts: 12’s (645-645)
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other, unless the need is more during the week
  • Holidays: 1 summer/spring, 1 winter
    Unit Specific Information
  • Must have natural colored hair, no fake nails or shellac on nails, no facial piercing, no visible tattoos.
    Additional Details
  • Unit: ICU - will be expected to float to any ICU units
  • # beds: 38
  • Ratios: 2:1 occ. 3:1
  • EMR: Meditech
  • Charge Nurse: Charge nurse 24/7 Clinical Supervisor 24/7
  • Nurse Aides: 1 per unit Critical care Tech
  • Drips: Extensive list
  • Vents: Yes, CPAP, BIPAP, and Hi Flow
  • Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Intensivist and Critical care NP’s in all units
  • IV Team: NO
  • RT 24/7: Yes
  • Pharmacy 24/7: Yes
  • Floating: In our Division only
  • Floor specific orientation: 2 shifts (unless heart trained then 3)
  • Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Critical Pts, Surgical ICU, Cardiac ICU, Medical ICU
  • Additional Notes: Must have min of 2 years in an ICU setting and be VERY comfortable with critical pts.
