Job Details
Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
Appropriately assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care.
Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Circulates during C/Sections, attends deliveries assisting the physician as needed.
Follows appropriate policies during the recovery and care of surgical patients.
Attends the neonatal station in the C/Section suite and completely assesses the neonate post delivery.
Job Requirements
Must have ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE & AWHONN certifications; must be attached to submission (Must be through the American Heart Association), RQI not accepted.
Must have WY RN license, must be attached to resume.
Must have 2 years recent RN Level 1 Nursery, Postpartum, L&D/LDRP experience.
Schedule Information
Candidate may be required to float to another unit depending on facility census.
