In this role, the manager will support the lifecycle of a global portfolio for the IT Business Applications projects, with a focus on SAP initiatives and new demands mainly focusing on the area of Supply Chain (Demand Planning, Production and Logistics). This includes managing the demand process, ensuring budgets exists or new ones are approved, leading projects, optimizing standards and templates, identifying areas for improvement, reporting analyses, and training team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Implementation, development, monitoring and management of operations and strategic portfolio planning with focus on SAP ECC / SAP S/4 Supply Chain initiatives.
• Create visibility of IT execution portfolio and provide governance & transparency to ensure the execution within approved time, budget, and scope
• Maintaining the demand pipeline and act as primary partner for the business functions to capture, structure, align and plan business demand and match this demand with the IT supply functions' capacity.
• Adhering to the IT demand process and prioritization and alignment of the demand requests
• Create visibility of IT execution portfolio and provide governance & transparency to ensure the execution within approved time, budget, and scope
• Responsible for the portfolio management tool and guidance for team members
• Responsibility for Prioritization to foster a balanced Portfolio in cooperation with Business and IT Function Heads and Units
• Manage day-to-day portfolio and project activities, establish and execute working plan for each project phase
• Facilitate project reviews and checkpoint meetings
• Analyze key performance indicators to produce reports on portfolio and projects
• Escalate issues that threaten portfolio and project success
• Act as project lead mainly for SAP implementation and enhancement projects
• Align the overall portfolio with the target enterprise architecture and align integration needs within the schedule and project timeline

Education

• Four-year degree in Computer Science / Information systems or related discipline.

Experience and Qualifications

• 5 plus years' experience in a position of equal scope and responsibility
• Experienced in IT project management and project methodology
• Knowledge of ERP functionality especially in SAP (ECC or S/4). Experience from a functional point in Supply Chain of SAP (Modules: PP, QM, WM, PM, S&R, MM)
• Knowledgeable integration with enterprise platforms, such as MES, 3PLS, S&OP solutions.
• Understanding of information security and data privacy aspects and impacts of cloud applications
• Alternatively, experience as a project team member, particularly for implementation of Business Applications and on large scale IT/Business projects
• Expertise in pharmaceutical or medical device industries preferred, knowledge of validation
