Job Responsibilities:

•Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures based on physician orders.

•Explain procedures to patients to ensure comfort and understanding.

•Evaluate images for quality, proper positioning, and adequate visualization.

•Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to interpret and provide accurate imaging results.

•Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently, following standard safety protocols.

•Record and maintain patient data and documentation accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system.

•Clean and prepare equipment between procedures according to infection control guidelines.

•Stay current on advancements in sonography technology and procedures through continuing education.

Requirements:

• Education: Associate s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field (Bachelor s preferred).

• Certification: RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) or eligible, with certifications in specialties (e.g., Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular) preferred.

• Experience: Specify if new graduates are accepted or if experience is required, e.g., 1-2 years preferred

• Skills:

•Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to sonography

•Ability to operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment

•Excellent communication and patient care skills

•Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze and produce high-quality imaging results
