**Job Overview**

The University of Dubuque is a growing faith based University that is seeking multiple **Graduate Assistants - Office of Residence Life** for the 2024-2025 term, with a potential renewal for 2025-2026.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

+ Provide support to the Office of Residence Life.

+ Assist with the training and supervision of student staff along with addressing student concerns and developmental needs through programming.

+ Guide and mentor undergraduate students while providing supervision for a residence hall.

+ Assist with general office support.

+ Perform other duties as assigned in support of the University's _Mission_ .

**Requirements:**

+ Bachelor's degree is required and the position is conditional based on acceptance into University of Dubuque Masters' program (preference: Master in Management - Organization Diversity and Inclusion Leadership).

+ Proficient computer skills (Excel spreadsheet, Outlook, Data entry technology, PowerPoint, Word, Internet, Search engines, and social media).

+ Flexibility with schedule as need arises (ex. evening or weekend commitments).

+ Utilize excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and interpersonal.

+ Ability to work with a variety of students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community professionals.

+ Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple ongoing projects at a given time.

All graduate tuition and fees are waived for the student for the term in which they serve as a GA. In return for a waiver of tuition and fees, the assistantship recipient agrees to provide service to the University equivalent to twenty (20) hours per week. **_This position is required to live on-campus and, as such, includes an on-campus apartment along with 10 meals per week._** _{Other opportunities may be available such as teaching, etc.}_
