Job Description

We are seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our team at North Mississippi Health Services in Verona, Mississippi.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic procedures for patients and the department.
• Provide radiology services in a timely manner while performing high-quality and cost-efficient diagnostic procedures.
• Organize workflow to prevent delays.
• Assist physicians and other medical staff during procedures as requested or required.
• Provide excellent customer service in an accurate and efficient manner.
• Communicate effectively with patients, family members, physicians, other medical staff, and NMMC staff members.
• Attend required in-services, annual reviews, and educational programs.
• Stay knowledgeable of procedures, positions, supplies, and equipment used in radiological examinations.
• Adhere to NMHS/NMMC policies, procedures, guidelines.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Registered or registry eligible by ARRT.
• Licensed as required by the State of Mississippi (MRT).
• Possess strong knowledge of radiographic anatomy.
• American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification is required.
