About the Department:

The Mission Foods Texas-Mexico Center is an action-oriented, research policy center looking to understand and explore the dynamic political, cultural, economic and business relationship between Texas and Mexico.

About the Position:

This role is an on-campus, in-person position.

The Texas-Mexico Center Assistant Director will assist the Center Director & Special Advisor oversee and implement the mission and programs of the Mission Foods Texas-Mexico Center in Dedman College, a sister Center to the Tower Center. 

The position will be responsible for the execution and planning of all the programs and events under the supervision of the Director; liaison with the faculty and board plus content management for the new Center website.  The Assistant Director will support the Director in the allocation of research grants and media. Lastly, this role will provide administrative support for the Center, as well as manage the student workers supporting the mission. This position is contingent on continued support from external funding.
