Jasco is looking for a motivated Associate Product Manager to assist product managers in developing and follow-up of specific products and product lines from conception through product launch.  Assists sales force with information for presentations and implementation of total merchandising plan.  Assists in incoming QC and functions as a customer support liaison to the product group.  Assists in creating needed reference information including competitive retail comparisons, data input and crossing of information.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs market research, factory sourcing, product evaluation, initial order placement and follow up. 

• Communicates daily with Asia JASCO and suppliers.

• Develops merchandising strategies and supporting display concepts. 

• Assists with training and technical support to Sales Staff, Representatives, Customer Service, Marketing, Consumer Relations, and Purchasing.  Also, provides technical support to customer service.

• Assists product managers in ensuring the quality of product testing, lab testing, evaluation/comparison of current, new, and competitors’ products, negotiation of defective products, and hold harmless agreements.  Also, assists in project tracking.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in marketing or business or in a related field and/or equivalent experience is preferred. A minimum of six months of previous experience in retail marketing is preferred.
