Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve corporate objectives
- Providing technical advice and support to customers and team members
- Negotiating contracts and closing agreements to maximize profits
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure client needs are met
- Staying up-to-date with new product launches and ensuring the sales team is informed
- Identifying emerging markets and market shifts while being aware of new products and competition status
- Traveling within the territory to meet clients, attend conferences, sales events, and training
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven work experience as a sales manager or similar role preferably in the Electrical industry
- Ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Demonstrable experience in business development and negotiating deals
- Strong business sense and industry expertise, preferably in the electrical industry
- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
- Strong understanding of sales performance metrics
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in the electrical industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel within the territory on a regular basis
- Strong decision-making and leadership abilities
- Ability to build rapport with clients and team members
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
