General Comments Unit Profile Facility Name:  Clinch Valley Medical Center Floor: OB 3 rd  floor Trauma Level:  Level 3 OB Position Information: •  Facility Department/Cost Center: Nursery 670, L&D 707 •  Role (RN, Tech, LPN, PT, etc.): RN •  Specialty: OB- Labor and Delivery Nurse,   Nursery Nurse •  Number of Openings:  2- L&D, 2 Nursery •  Shift: 7a • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 •  Weekend Hours: 7a •  Call Requirements: n •  Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Intermediate fetal monitoring or above, STABLE for nursery •  Years of Experience: Min 1 year-18 months • Float Requirements: if units closed due to census • Additional Notes:  OB unit generally has low volume.  Less than 15 deliveries per month Unit Information: •  Number of Beds:  3 L&D,  9 OB, 14 Nursery and 3 intermediate nursery •  Patient Ratios: Per A1 Guidelines •  Equipment: General OB unit equipment •  EHR: Meditech •  Supervisor: Bevin Sedgwick •  Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: Level 3 OB Hiring Profile: • Must Have Skills/Experience: Prefer nurse with at least one year experience • Preferred Skillset/Experience:  General OB L&D and Nursery care • Common Diagnosis/Treatment: OB Delivery, Nursery care • Personality Fit: •  Required Education: Associate degree RN Dress Code: • Scrub Color: Any color scrubs. • Any unacceptable attire:
