Overview:

Maryland Dental Care is now hiring a Full Time Dental Hygienist in Nottingham, Maryland!

This is an amazing opportunity for a personal and professional Full Time Dental Hygienist to join our team and collaborate for services across both practices.

Full Time Dental Hygienist Schedule

Tuesday and Thursday 7:45am - 5:00pm and Friday 7:45am - 3:00pm (1 hour lunch on Tuesday and Thursday)

Flexibility to start with 2 days if needed, but including Friday would be preferred!

Responsibilities:
Build strong relationships with patients, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience
Screening patients and providing quality care during check-ups
Educating patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene care
Reviewing patient's history and charting
Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
Documents area of existing restorations
Use of X-ray
Support the dentist with procedures as needed
Qualifications:
Licensed as a Dental Hygienist in the state of Maryland
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
Current BLS/CPR certifications
Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
1 or more years of RDH clinical experience preferred - new grads are welcome to apply!
Knowledgeable about perio health, comfortable with patient education, and competent with gum therapy
Experience with dental practice software
Seeking a new team collaborator that is open, positive and flexible
