* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
* Ability to read and write
* Ability to work independently or as a team
* Excellent customer services skills

Expectations and Responsibilities:

* Prepare dining areas for meals; this may include setting tables with dinnerware and decoration.
* Serve accurate and attractive meals in a timely manner.
* Ensure proper food temperature when serving.
* Communicate with and respond to customer meal requests.
* Obtain meal orders.
* Monitor and maintain proper levels of supplies and food items in work areas and dining rooms.
* May observe and report changes in residents dining habits to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
* Maintain adequate cleanliness of dining services equipment and work area.
* Ensure proper storage of food items according to policy.
* May operate dishwasher when appropriate.
