NaphCare is partnering with Everhealth to hire an experienced part time Medical Director/Physician just like you to join our team at the Benton County Jail located in Kennewick, WA. Pay rates range from $157.50 to $166.25 per hour based on employment status, shift, specific facility, site needs, licensure, and experience.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities for Medical Director:

Responsible for all clinical decisions at the facility
Ensures all clinical needs are being met within the facility
Provides direct and indirect basic medical care to meet the physiological and emotional needs of the patients
Conducts rounds in the medical and infirmary units
Performs sick call visits, and manages chronic care
Responds to and initiates care for medical emergencies
Leads efforts to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of healthcare services
Coordinates, leads and participates in educational and training activities
May supervise Staff Physicians and other medical staff
Performs other related duties as needed
Qualifications:

Qualifications for Medical Director:

Be licensed as a physician in the WA
Possess a current DEA registration
Currently certified in a Board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties
A valid CPR card
Progressive administrative/management training in primary care in corrections and/or managed health care delivery preferred.
