We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our client’s team at a community health center dedicated to providing high-quality mental health care to underserved populations. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in psychiatric care and a passion for serving diverse communities.

*Responsibilities:*
* Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment plans for patients across the lifespan.
* Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in accordance with evidence-based guidelines.
* Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, social workers, and case managers, to deliver holistic care.
* Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication management.
* Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and provide follow-up care.
* Document all patient interactions and treatment plans in the electronic health record (EHR) accurately and promptly.
* Participate in community outreach and education initiatives to promote mental health awareness.
* Stay up-to-date with advancements in psychiatric care and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.

*Requirements:*
* Active and unrestricted PMHNP license in NY.
* At least 2 years of experience working in psychiatric care, preferably in an outpatient or community health setting.
* Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
* Experience working with diverse patient populations, including those with co-occurring disorders.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer._
