Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to provide community-based mental health services to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. This role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, person-centered care that promotes recovery, stability, and independence. The ideal candidate must hold a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) or Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) credential in addition to a social work license.

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Provide direct therapeutic services, including individual and group counseling, to individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
* Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and other professionals to coordinate care.
* Assist clients in accessing community resources, housing, employment, and social services.
* Provide crisis intervention and on-call support as needed.
* Educate clients and their families on mental health and substance use treatment options.
* Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
* Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing training to enhance professional development.

*Requirements:*
* Bachelor’s degree in a mental health related field required.
* CADC or LCADC certification in NJ required.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health, substance use treatment, or community-based services.
* Strong understanding of evidence-based interventions for individuals with co-occurring disorders.
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, field-based setting.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
