Position Summary

The Medical Scribe will work closely with healthcare providers to accurately document patient encounters in electronic medical records (EMRs). The Medical Scribe will assist during patient encounters, facilitate communication between healthcare providers and patients, and maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Duties and Responsibilities

Accurately transcribe patient history, physical examinations, diagnostic test results, treatment plans, and other relevant information during patient visits.
Aid healthcare providers during patient encounters by recording pertinent details, facilitating communication, and ensuring all relevant information is documented appropriately.
Enter patient information into electronic health records (EHRs).
Review patient charts to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
Adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines, ensuring that patient information remains secure and protected at all times.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proficient in medical terminology.
Excellent attention to details, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to document patient encounters including medical histories, physical examinations, assessments, and treatment plans accurately and efficiently.
