At Horizon Dental, we are dedicated to providing exceptional dental care in a friendly and welcoming environment. We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for managing patient interactions, ensuring seamless scheduling, and supporting the overall flow of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist patients in a friendly, professional manner both in person and over the phone.
Schedule patient appointments and manage the daily appointment calendar.
Verify and update patient information, including insurance and medical history.
Answer patient inquiries, providing information on services, treatment options, and billing procedures.
Assist with insurance verification and billing inquiries, ensuring accurate patient records and communication with insurance companies.
Collect and process patient payments, ensuring all financial transactions are handled accurately.
Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Ensure that the office environment is welcoming, organized, and clean.
Act as a liaison between the patient and the dentist, ensuring smooth communication and understanding of treatment plans.
Assist with other administrative tasks and duties as required to maintain efficient office operations.

Requirements:

Bilingual in English and Spanish required – must be able to communicate effectively with patients in both languages to meet the needs of our diverse community.
3-5 years previous experience in a dental office required.
Strong organizational and time management skills.

Benefits:

Pay range: $23-$24 DOE
Health, dental, and vision insurance
Paid time off

Schedule

Monday: 8-6, Tuesday: 9-6, Wednesday: 9-5, Thursday: 8-6, 2 Saturdays per month
